By payment of any Board Chef invoice you are accepting our terms and condition as follows;
Food Handling
It is solely the responsibility of the customer to open & check all products received strictly at the point of delivery or collection. It is therefore the responsibility of the individual who has booked the order to be present to receive or collect the order, & handle the product/s with the utmost care.
Once products are received & accepted at the point of delivery or collection, orders will be classed as fully 'accepted' by the customer. If orders are not checked at the point of delivery or collection, orders will still be classed as 'accepted' by the customer. By 'accepting' an order from The Board Chef, the responsibility of the products thereafter is solely the customer's.
Platters/Boxes need to be placed in the fridge until ready to be consumed. Once your grazing table is set up or our savoury platter/box is taken out of the fridge contents will need to be consumed within three (3) hours for grazing tables, four (4) hours for platters and discarded after, contents are not to be re-used.
Invoicing & Payment
Invoices are sent after an initial enquiry and your date is not held until the deposit/payment has been made.
Cancellation and Order Reduction Policy
Non-Corporate Orders:
For non-corporate orders, we kindly request a minimum of three (3) business days' notice for any cancellations or significant reductions in the quantity of your order. This allows us to manage our inventory and scheduling effectively.
Corporate Orders:
Corporate orders require at least seven (7) business days' notice for cancellations or significant reductions in order quantities. This extended notice period helps us accommodate the larger scale and complexities of corporate orders.
Cancellation Fees:
Please note that if an order is cancelled or significantly reduced without the required notice, the full charge of the original order will apply. This policy is in place to help us mitigate the impact of last-minute changes on our operations and ensure we can continue offering the highest quality service to all our clients.
